In order to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the self-revolution of the Party, strengthen the linkage between grassroots party organizations in discipline education, and promote the comprehensive and in-depth development of strict party governance, on the afternoon of April 2nd, the Party Committee of the College of Teacher Education held a special meeting on Comprehensively Strengthening Party Discipline and Building a Clean and Honest Party Style in Lecture Hall 1817. The college leadership, party branch secretaries and committee members, department heads, laboratory directors, administrative staff, and party members representatives attended the meeting, which was presided over by Zhang Yun, the Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, we proceeded with the study of the first agenda item. Dean Wang Jiajia led the study of the essence of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, conveying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on continuing to promote comprehensive and strict governance of the party and the anti-corruption struggle.

Finally, Secretary Bu Guangqing summarized his speech, emphasizing the need to conscientiously study and comprehend the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches, solidly carry out the comprehensive and strict governance of the party in the college, and focus on four dimensions to deploy the work of comprehensively and strictly governing the party in the college in 2025. First, deepen internal understanding of comprehensively and strictly governing the party from the core, foundation, key points, and pain points. Second, deeply analyze and rectify the phenomenon of gradual decline at the grassroots level that has emerged in the process of comprehensively and strictly governing the party. Third, enhance political awareness and strengthen the consciousness and initiative of comprehensively and strictly governing the party. Fourth, benchmark against the requirements of party building, combine with the actual situation of the college, seek advice from teachers and students through surveys, and promote high-quality party building to achieve high-quality development of the college’s undertakings.
