Jiangsu University Held 2025 Teacher Education Accreditation

On the afternoon of March 14th, Jiangsu University successfully held the 2025 Teacher Education Accreditation Exchange Meeting in Room 206 of Main Building A. The deans of teaching, program leaders, department heads, teachers, undergraduate teaching secretaries from the College of Arts, College of Foreign Languages, College of Fine Arts, and College of Teacher Education, as well as staff from the Teacher Education Center and Teacher Training Center for Normal Students, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Kang Cui, Vice Dean of the College of Teacher Education.

At the meeting, Li Jiajun, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, shared his experience in the accreditation of teacher education programs from the perspectives of studying accreditation standards, coordinating personnel arrangements, and constructing supporting materials, based on the school's participation in the accreditation process. He emphasized that the accreditation of teacher education programs must adhere to the core principles of "student-centeredness, output-orientation, and continuous improvement", and adopt the action strategy of "reverse design and forward implementation" to ensure the effective advancement of the accreditation process and achieve desired results.

Kang Cui made a concluding speech, in which she once again emphasized the importance and urgency of the certification work for teacher education majors, and clearly pointed out that promoting the construction of teaching case libraries and refining certification materials were key tasks. She encouraged all participants to make up their minds, take positive action, and promote the orderly implementation of the certification work for teacher education majors in 2025 as soon as possible, ensuring that the certification work would achieve complete success.
