On September 2^nd, the Jiangsu Higher Education Society published the Notice of the Announcement of the 2023 Higher Education Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award, in which the School of Teacher Education at Jiangsu University received three awards. Among them, the paper of Associate Professor Lu Liu, “The Dilemma and Countermeasure of Talent People Cultivation in Universities from the Perspective of the Entropy Change Theory and Information Processing Theory in the VUCA Era,” was awarded the first prize. Additionally, Professor Hui Cao’s work titled “Research on Legal Issues of Teacher’s Disciplinary Power” and Associate Professor Xinchao Li’s “The Dilemmas and Breakthroughs of Education for International Students in China: Teacher–Student Interaction and Academic Achievement” received the second prize.

The Higher Education Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award of Jiangsu Province, organized by the Jiangsu Higher Education Society, seeks to fully engage the enthusiasm and creativity of higher education faculty and enhance the production of high-quality teaching and research outcomes. The achievement projects encompass the domains of higher education's foundational theory, historical context, developmental strategy, economic and managerial aspects, psychological factors, adult education, information technology, comparative studies, and pedagogical research within higher education.
