On October 19 2025, the Seminar for National Graduate Education Research Institution，also the Inaugural Meeting of the Alliance was held at Beijing Institute of Technology. The event was attended by over 40 representatives from 22 institutions, along with relevant officials from the Ministry of Education. Professor Zhong Yongwei from the School of Teacher Education，Jiangsu University was invited to participate in the conference and was appointed as a standing director of the National Alliance of Graduate Education Research Institution.

The National Alliance of Graduate Education Research Institution is composed of five provincial research institutions, four academic journals, and 13 university research centers. Under the guidance of the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education and the leadership of the Center for Degree and Graduate Education Development of the Ministry of Education, the alliance aims to consolidate research capabilities in graduate education nationwide, focus on key issues in graduate education reform, establish a collaborative mechanism for theoretical research, policy consultation, and practical demonstration, as well as build a new academic governance community that contributes to policy advising.

In recent years, School of Teacher Education，Jiangsu University has continuously improved its research level in graduate education. Focusing on research on enhancing the quality of graduate self-cultivation through the symbiosis of subject–institution–culture, more than ten significant research outcomes have been produced. This appointment indicates that the work of our graduate education research center has been recognized by the academic community and will further enhance the center's influence and supporting capacity.
