On the afternoon of March 3rd, the School of Teacher Education organized an open class on "life education in epidemic situation" through WeChat. The Faith Open Class was lectured by Professor Feng Jianjun, Director of the New Life Education Research Institute, and all members of the Student Union and Graduate Union participated in this class.
First of all, the host organized students to watch the life education course entitled "How to Live a Good Public Life in the Present Epidemic" by Professor Feng Jianjun. Professor Feng took some real and moving stories during the epidemic as an example to tell students about the types of interpersonal interactions in public life. Professor Feng’s wonderful views brought a lot of benefits to students. They all have clear directions towards how to live a good public life.
Then, the host threw three questions to everyone: how to view the behavior of "escaping" from Wuhan? How to treat public awareness and public morality? How can an individual regulate public behavior during the epidemic? The students expressed their opinions around these three issues and started a heated discussion. Although the behavior that Wuhan people escape from Wuhan is not advocated, it is understandable; in the current epidemic situation, consciously enhancing civic awareness and consciously practicing public morality are the responsibilities and obligations that every member in the community of a shared future should bear; consciously protecting ourselves and reducing the frequency of going out are the most effective ways to be responsible to ourselves, to others, and to society.
Every epidemic is an opportunity to improve public civilization. Facing this new Corona Virus Disease, we must enhance public awareness, practice public morals, standardize public behavior, gather together powerful forces to prevent and control the epidemic, and jointly win this "people's war" against the epidemic.
