The "Jiangsu Higher Education Society 2019 Academic Annual Meeting" hosted by the Jiangsu Higher Education Society
was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of Jiangsu Architectural Institute of Technology on November 8th. Professor Qu Zhenyuan, member of the National Education Advisory Committee, Professor Zhang Daliang, Vice President of the Chinese Higher Education Society, Professor Ding Xiaochang, President of the Jiangsu Higher Education Society, Li Yan, Deputy Mayor of Xuzhou City, Shao Jin, Director of the Higher Education Department of Jiangsu Education Department, Xiamen University Professor Derong Rong, Dean of the Institute of Education, leaders of the Jiangsu Higher Education Society, and experts and scholars from universities inside and outside the province attended the meeting. Associate professor Zhong Yongwei attended the meeting on behalf of   our school.
       At the conference award ceremony, Associate Professor Quan Shoujie and Professor Yu Zhonghai respectively won the first and second prizes of Jiangsu Province's 2018 Higher Education Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award, During the special sub-forum section of the conference, Zhong Yong made a 25-minute special report on "The Evolution and Trend of the Paradigm of Quality Assurance Policies for Higher Education in New China: An Analysis Based on the Policy Text of 1949-2019". In the report, Professor Zhong analyzed the historical evolution of the quality assurance policy and discourse genealogy of new China's higher education using Nvivo software, content analysis and the theoretical framework of policy paradigm changes.      Since the establishment of the Jiangsu Higher Education Society for 34 years, it has held an annual academic conf- erence each year, which has become the "academic feast" of Jiangsu higher education research.
