The Jiangsu Provincial Teacher Education Professional Steering Committee has just disclosed the sixth Jiangsu Normal College Teacher Wisdom Teaching Competition winners. Ms. Meng Shi secured third place in the Humanities and Social Sciences category. The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education orchestrated the competition, which was co-organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Teacher Education Professional Steering Committee and sponsored by Nanjing Normal University.

The competition adheres to “student-centeredness, wisdom in teaching, and the creation of quality courses,” facilitating teachers in implementing heuristic instruction, inquiry-based learning, participatory discourse, and thorough assessment. Effectively employing intelligent teaching platforms and integrating blended instructional approaches fosters interaction between educators and learners, ignites students’ passion for inquiry-based learning, and augments their capacity for independent study.

The Normal Education Center will utilize the competition to evaluate experiences, align with advancements in higher education teaching reform, establish a teaching competition framework for normal college students, offer professional development support and services for their educators, and enhance the training quality of normal college students through an output-oriented methodology.
