Personal   Profile

Born in Bengbu, Anhui Province, a   member of the Communist Party of China, she holds an M.Ed. in English from   Anhui Normal University and a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from   the College of Foreign Languages, National University of Defense Technology. She   is a professor, a master's supervisor, and an overseas doctoral supervisor at   Termez State University. She was a visiting scholar at the University of   Birmingham (UK) and Saarland University (Germany). Her research primarily   focuses on foreign language curriculum and pedagogy, foreign language teacher   education, systemic functional linguistics, and discourse analysis. She has   led and completed one national-level project funded by the National Social   Science Fund, one ministerial-level project, one provincial-level project,   and two municipal- and departmental-level projects. She has received one   third-class prize for provincial teaching achievement and one first-class   prize for university-level teaching achievement. She was awarded the   first-class prize in the Jiangsu Provincial competition of the "Teaching   Star" Contest organized by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press.   She has published three monographs or edited volumes and over 20 journal   articles. She was consecutively named a Top 1% Highly   Cited Scholar in China by CNKI for the years 2024 and 2025. She has also   been honored with titles such as Outstanding Teacher of Jiangsu University,   Outstanding Postgraduate Supervisor of Jiangsu University, and Advanced   Individual in Three-Wide Education (Whole-process, All-round, and All-staff   education) at Jiangsu University.
