On the afternoon of Oct 7th, in the lecture hall of Jiangsu University Library, Professor Ni Juan, director of the Institute of Basic Education of Jiangsu Academy of Educational Sciences, gave a lecture on "Sample of Jiangsu Educational Innovation: Primary and Secondary School Curriculum Base and School Cultural Construction". The report was chaired by Dean Wang Jiajia.

The curriculum base construction is an important reform project of basic education in our province. The construction of the Jiangsu curriculum base has always been at the forefront in all aspects, and the concept has been put into practice. It has become a "Jiangsu sample" for promoting the reform of ordinary high school education in the country. Professor Ni traced the education situation of primary and secondary schools in Jiangsu Province twenty years ago and combed the development process of the construction of curriculum base in our province.

Professor Ni introduced the development of basic education curriculum base construction from multiple latitudes, such as the annual changes in the number of the past ten years, the distribution of the project in 13 districts and cities, and the proportion of elementary, middle and high schools, and various disciplines. When talking about the design, operation and follow-up support of the project, Professor Ni emphasized the scientific research ability of education personnel, especially the literacy of pedagogical principles. Even so, only with perceptual experience can it be transformed into practical applications. Theory and practice are two complementary and inseparable aspects.

In the questioning session, the students and Professor Ni had in-depth exchanges on "Culture on Campus", school-based curriculum settings, and national curriculum planning. After the lecture, the awarding ceremony of the Jinshan Chair Professor of Jiangsu University was held. Our school hired Professor Ni Juan as the Jinshan Chair Professor of Jiangsu University and awarded her an appointment certificate.
