On the afternoon of May 8th, the School of Teacher Education held a symposium on the mid-term teaching evaluation of the second semester of undergraduate studies for the 2023-2024 academic year at 1806 Sanjiang Building. Zheng Lifang, Director of the Department of Education, Wang Bin, Director of the Department of Educational Technology, Li Peng, Undergraduate Teaching Secretary, and representatives of students from various classes majoring in Educational Technology (Teacher Education) attended the symposium. Vice President Kang Cui presided over the meeting.

At the symposium, student representatives from each class actively spoke up, focusing on undergraduate education and teaching. Based on feedback from classmates in the class, they put forward their own opinions and suggestions from multiple aspects such as teaching content, teaching effectiveness, teaching quality, learning atmosphere, course arrangement, and employment guidance. The leaders of the college and the director of the teaching and research office listened carefully to the students' speeches and recorded their opinions and suggestions in detail. The two department heads provided timely answers to the questions and doubts raised by the students regarding the cultivation of learning ability, improvement of teaching quality, setting of teaching syllabus, and career planning for college students.

The launch of this symposium provides a good communication platform for teachers and students to timely understand students' problems and needs, laying a foundation for further improving students' comprehensive quality, education and teaching management level, and talent cultivation quality. The college will continue to focus on the fundamental task of cultivating students' moral character and solidly promote various aspects of undergraduate education and teaching.
