On the afternoon of May 22nd, the Department of Educational Technology held a teaching and research activity in Room 1804 of Sanjiang Building to discuss the revision of the 2024 undergraduate training program. The meeting was chaired by the department head, Professor Wang Bin, and attended by Vice Dean Kang Cui and all teachers from the Department of Educational Technology. Three teaching supervisors from the school, Professor Wang Jun, Zhang Hua, and Zhou Haiyan, also attended the meeting to provide guidance.
Teacher Wang Bin first explained the recent educational internships and graduation theses in the undergraduate teaching line, then reported on the overall situation of the construction of provincial first-class undergraduate majors, especially the completion of several landmark achievements. Finally, he briefly introduced the revision work of the 2024 edition of the undergraduate training program. The participating teachers expressed their views on issues such as the addition or deletion of some courses, the arrangement of lecture and experimental class hours, and how to highlight the characteristics of disciplines in graduation requirements.
The three supervisors fully affirmed the enthusiasm of the department teachers for actively participating in the revision of the training program, and put forward several guiding opinions on how to allocate theoretical lectures and practical computer practice in teaching, as well as how to promote students to change their employment concepts. Vice Dean Kang Cui expressed her heartfelt thanks to the three supervisors for their personal guidance despite their busy schedules, and invited them to come back to the Department of Educational Technology for guidance next semester.
