From November 29th to December 1st, the 3rd Jiangsu Province M.Ed. Teaching & Innovation Ability Contest was held in Jiangsu Normal University. Eighty-one M.Ed. students from Nanjing Normal University, Jiangsu University, Suzhou University, Jiangsu Normal University, Yangzhou University, Nantong University, Shenyang Normal University, Bohai University, and Anshan Normal University competed on the same stage. A total of five students from our school participated in the competition.

During the three-day competition, all the contestants carried out a competition of micro-teaching and micro-projects in respective groups to inspect the teaching ability and scientific research ability. After a fierce competition, Kang Jiahui major in primary education won the first prize in the preschool & elementary education comprehensive group; Li Jing, major in English subject teaching, won the second prize in the liberal arts group.

During the preparation for the competition, our school adhered to the concepts of “promoting teaching through competition, promoting learning through competition, promoting innovation through competition, and combination of competition and learning”. The relevant organizational training has been further optimized and adopted under the guidance of the teacher team. The deliberation and practice of simulated micro-teaching and subject trial lectures have further improved the educational practice ability and micro-project level of master's students in full-time education in our school. The achievement of the competition also reflects the educational achievements and level of our university in the cultivation of masters of education.
