The school of teacher education held the faculty teaching competition

In order to effectively improve the teaching ability of the college teachers and improve the quality of classroom teaching, on the afternoon of November 1st,2018, the college launched a teaching competition in the Room 1805 of Sanjiang Building.We invited the deputy director Feng Jun and deputy director Feng Zhigang of the school's Academic Affairs Office and Li Xinchao, the deputy director of the Overseas Education College to serve as the judges. All the young teachers of the college and the 16th grade undergraduate students of the educational technology major attented the competition. The competition was presided by Wang Jiajia.
   In the teaching demonstration, Shen Jin, Wang Baozhen, Lu Daokun, Cai Weiren, Wang Bin, and Shi Meng participated in the 15-minute presentation. They focused on the skills of PPT, the physical and mental development of teenagers, and the teachers’role positioning, educational purposes, content analysis, and Bloom's teaching ideas were explained. Their lectures fully demonstrated their teaching style, teaching design, processing of teaching materials, understanding of the content of the courses taught, teaching methods and techniques, language expression, the use of multimedia courseware in classroom teaching.

After the contest, Li Xinchao made a comment on behalf of the judges. While fully affirming the effectiveness of the teaching competition, he made a detailed analysis of the selection of teaching content, the design of classroom teaching strategies, the production of courseware, and the overall teaching state of the participating teachers, and gave corresponding suggestions for improvement. At last Li Xinchao presented the award to the participating teachers.
   This activity has established a platform for teachers to exchange teaching experience. It is a comprehensive display and review of the teaching ability and level of our teachers, and is an important means to promote the growth of teachers (especially young teachers). At the same time, it is also a powerful measure to implement the spirit of undergraduate teaching in schools and promote the construction of undergraduate teaching quality.
