The School of Teacher Education’s Party Committee convenes a conference to conduct a Party Member Election

The election of party members for the Communist Party of China Jiangsu University School of Teacher Education Committee took place on the afternoon of March 27th in Room 1817 of the Sanjiang Building. Daojian Yang, a School Party Committee's Standing Committee member and Vice President, was asked to participate in the conference. Additionally, all official party members from the School of Teacher Education attended the meeting. Yun Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the School of Teacher Education, chaired the conference.

The conference commenced with the dignified rendition of the national anthem. Guangqing Bu, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, presented a work report titled “Striving for Excellence by Building on the Current Situation and Focusing on the Future.” The report comprehensively summarized the college’s accomplishments in party building and career development during the previous three years. It also thoroughly analyzed the challenges and deficiencies currently faced by the college's career. Furthermore, the report presented the guiding ideology, goals, essential tasks, and measures for the college's future development.

The meeting adhered carefully to the organizational protocols, with the staff presenting and reciting the "Election Measures for the Election of Communist Party of China Jiangsu University School of Teacher Education Committee." The attendees then voted to endorse the selection of scrutineers and ballot counters. To strengthen political discipline and foster a transparent and ethical environment throughout the transition, all party members attentively viewed the film titled “Ten Prohibitions.” Ultimately, out of the 101 attendees at the formal party, seven comrades were chosen as the new Party Committee of the School of Teacher Education members. The elected individuals are Guangqing Bu, Jiajia Wang, Yun Zhang, Hui Cao, Cui Kang, Shouwei Lv, and Chen Cheng. The selection process used anonymous voting. Vice President Daojian Yang expressed his sincere congratulations on the successful organization of the conference and outlined three critical areas for the future development of the college: maintaining the initial purpose, pursuing growth, and attaining new accomplishments.

Following the conference’s conclusion, the newly formed Party Committee convened its inaugural plenary session, during which the Secretary and Deputy Secretary were elected. Guangqing Bu was appointed as the Secretary of the Party Committee, while Jiajia Wang and Yun Zhang were appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

The practical organization of this election conference has initiated a new path for the school's career to achieve high-quality development. All School of Teacher Education members will diligently study and apply the principles outlined in the Fifth Party Congress of the school. We will uphold the socialist approach to education and prioritize cultivating moral values and talented individuals. We will integrate and promote both party building and career development, ensuring and leading the advancement of our cause. We will rely on reform and innovation as the primary driving force, with disciplinary and professional development as our guiding principle. We will prioritize the quality of teaching, considering it crucial to our success. We will strive to improve our teaching and research capabilities, accelerating the progress of all aspects of the college. Together, we will embrace a promising future for the school.
