On the afternoon of November 30th, the Evidence-based Research Center of Educational Evaluation held a lecture on "How Anxiety and Stress Impact Students' Performance" in Room 1804 Sanjiang Building. 

This lecture was delivered by Dr. Shahbaz Hussain, Associate Professor of the School of Teacher Education at Jiangsu University, and hosted by Professor Huangjinyan. Faculties and graduate students participated in the academic lecture.

Associate Professor Shahbaz Hussain focused on the doctoral student population and systematically explained the sources, manifestations, and coping strategies of anxiety and stress among doctoral students. He focused on exploring how anxiety and stress affect student performance through self-regulated learning. After the lecture, the faculties and students had an interactive exchange with Dr. Shahbaz Hussain.
