The "Cultural Exchange Forum" of the 11th "Chinese and Foreign Postgraduate Academic Forum" hosted by our school was successfully held

In order to promote the development of international academic vision for graduate students and improve the quality of graduate education, our school hosted the "Cultural Exchange Forum" of the 11th "Chinese and Foreign Graduate Academic Forum" in the lecture hall of the library on the afternoon of November 24th.

This event was co-sponsored by the Youth League Committee, the Graduate School, the Graduate Work Department of the Party Committee, and the Overseas Education College, and hosted by our school. Dean Gao Jing of the Overseas Education College, Deputy Minister Liu Jie of the Graduate Work Department, and Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee Cheng Shan attended this forum. Professor Wu Xiaofeng of the College of Arts, Professor Deng Lili of the College of Art and Researcher Wang Baoxi served as the reviewers of this forum. First researcher Wang Baoxi gave a keynote speech entitled "Cultural Diversity in International Higher Education". In his speech, he elaborated on the theoretical basis of cultural diversity, the current status of cultural diversity in colleges and universities, and cultural diversity, the positive and negative impacts brought about and their countermeasures. In the academic thesis report session, a total of 14 Chinese and foreign graduate students from the Law School, the School of Marxism, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Liberal Arts and our school showed their academic research results. The content of the discussion included the aesthetics of the classics of ancient Chinese literature, value, the international dissemination of Red Culture, and the improvement of students' cross-cultural competence, etc., fully reflecting the theme of this forum of "Educating the Beauty through Aesthetics, and Sharing the Same Beauty". After being evaluated by experts, three groups of students including Wang Jiayu from our school won the "Best Report Award". Professor Wu Xiaofeng from the School of Liberal Arts made comments on the performance of the students, and encouraged them to improve the standardization of academic research and their oral English expression skills, and become an advocate and creator of multiculturalism.

Through the "Chinese and Foreign Postgraduate Academic Forum", graduate students from all over the world can exchange ideas, broaden their international horizons, experience multiculturalism, and promote exchanges and mutual improvement between Chinese and foreign students.
