From Nov 27th to Nov 29th, the 4th Jiangsu Provincial M Ed. Teaching & Innovation Ability Competition hosted by Jiangsu  Education Steering Committee of Educational Graduates  was held at Jiangsu Normal University. Ninety-three educational graduate students from 11 universities, including Nanjing University, Nanjing Normal University, Soochow University, Jiangsu University, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu Normal University, and Nantong University, participated in this competition. The competition is divided into three groups: the middle school liberal arts group, the middle school science group, and the comprehensive group. The content of the competition includes two parts: micro-research and micro-teaching.

Five graduate students, Qin Jinxin, Zhang Xiaoyan, Wang Jiayu, Zhu Congxian and Yang Jiahui, participated in the competition. With the support of the leaders of the graduate school and the school of teacher education, under the guidance of the deputy dean Professor Cao Hui, lecturer Cai (the staff of the M.Ed Education Center), and the experts and teachers across the campus, after fierce competition, the contestants of our school achieved the highest record in history: Qin Jinxin Won the special prize, Zhu Congxian won the first prize, Zhang Xiaoyan and Yang Jiahui won the second prize, and Wang Jiayu won the winning prize.

One of the biggest changes in this competition is that the micro-teaching adopts the form of on-site selection of questions and closed independent preparations. That is, the contestants will select the order of the competition and prepare for the competition in two hours according to the discipline they have registered. The achievement of this competition embodies the spirit of all-out efforts of the faculties and students. In the process of preparing for the competition, the students' enthusiasm for teaching training and subject research was soaring, achieving the goal of promoting teaching and learning by competition, demonstrating the good innovation, scientific research and practical ability of our M.Ed students, Which reflects the achievements of our school in the cultivation of professional talents for master of education.
