The Department of Educational Technology held a seminar about online assessment of undergraduate courses

On the afternoon of May 27th, the Department of Educational Technology held an online seminar through WeChat to study the document "Work Arrangements Related to Course Assessment for the 2019-2020-2nd Semester" , and discussed the assessment methods and recent routine teaching work.

The faculties first discussed the recent work of the teaching, and discussed and arranged the implementation of the teaching tasks for the next semester, thesis thesis defense, and the revision of the undergraduate teaching plan. Then all the teachers learned the document " work arrangements related to 2019-2020-2nd semester course assessment ". The teachers expressed their opinions on the assessment method, combining with their own courses in the semester, and they proposed assessment methods such as writing short papers, handing in works in different stages, and centralizing opening exams.

They also discussed about the platform used in the exams. Everyone said that under the special circumstances of the epidemic, we must use modern educational technology to complete the exam, maintain normal teaching order, and prepare materials for the follow-up teachers’ professional certification and excellent teacher training.
