We held the first "Sanjiang Education Salon" academic seminars

  On the morning of Dec 1st, 2017, The first session of Sanjiang Education Salon was held in 1837, Sanjiang Building. Professor Zhang Zhonghua gave a report titled "Reflections on the Development of Educational Sciences and Discipline-authorizing in China". The seminar was chaired by Professor Wang Jiajia, our associate dean. All faculties and some graduate students in the school of teacher education attended the seminar.
   In his report, Professor Zhang first talked about the phenomenon of withdrawing the education school in some comprehensive universities, and discussed the current situation of the survival of educational sciences in colleges and universities in our country. Thenhe elaborated the history of the development of Pedagogy in our country and the existing problems in the current development. Finally,he put forward some prospects for the future development of pedagogy and its academic places in our country. Subsequently, the participating teachers and graduate students had heated discussions on the topics of "the possibility and necessity of self-reflection of pedagogical subjects" and "the relationship between educational research and government decision-making". Professor Zhang alsoanswered the questions raised by people.
    The "Sanjiang Education Salon" is our brand featured activity, which consists of four topics: pedagogy, curriculum and pedagogy, higher education and teacher education. The aim is to cultivate the academic atmosphere for the college to create, exchange of ideas and exchange of views.
