The 2023 year-end summary, academic discussion, and exchange meeting were organized by the Evidence-based Research Centre for Educational Assessment of the School of Teacher Education of Jiangsu University in collaboration with the Subject Direction of Educational Assessment and Research Methods on January 7, 2024. Professor Jinyan Huang presided over the meeting. Professor Jiajia Wang, Dean of the School of Teacher Education; Cui Kang, Associate dean; Quan Chen, secretary of the Mengxi Academy Party Branch; Guihong Xu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering; Chengcheng Huang, chief of the Discipline construction section of the Discipline construction and Planning Development Division; Cheng Chen, director of the School of Teacher Education office; and over twenty other individuals were in attendance at the meeting.
Jiajia Wang, dean of the School of Teacher Education, reviewed and summarized the centre’s development at the outset of the meeting. President Wang reaffirmed the Centre’s recent accomplishments, urged youthful instructors and graduate students to persist in their diligent pursuit of scientific research, and expressed optimism that Professor Huang would guide the Centre towards further triumphs. Vice Dean Cui Kang congratulated the centre on its accomplishments and emphasized that it will further its internationalization efforts in the coming years. Secretary Quan Chen provided the instructors and pupils of the Centre with some recommendations and expectations and expressed eagerness for increased collaboration between the Centre and Mengxi Academy. Guanghui Shen delivered a summary address on behalf of the Centre, the direction, and the instructors, detailing the direction of the discipline, the Centre’s scientific research accomplishments from the previous year, the progress of the work, and the future work arrangement. Graduate student representative Yaxin Dong provided an overview of his individual research and learning accomplishments and wished all faculty and peers a joyous New Year.
