     In recent years, the School of Teacher Education adheres to the work ethic of “Teaching center, Disciplines leader, Research force” and achieved rapid development in professional research and teaching research. We implement “academic leaders system” , concise research direction and build academic features, led by professors who accomplished in the professional research. We have set up research institute of educational scientific and research institute of educational policy, we will rely on these research institutes to build research teams. Currently, the research teams with the center of these research institutes are improving the structure in the title, age, education and other aspects. The importance, they have strong complementarities, and they are becoming a powerful driving force to promote sustainable development of research.

     In the past 5 years, there are 290 articles published in the international and domestic magazines, in which 89 articles was cited by CSSCI, 1 article’ text was reprinted and 6 articles’ viewpoints were reprinted by Xinhua Digest, and 11 articles’ text were reproduced by Information Center for social sciences, RUC . Besides, 14 academic monographs and textbooks were published. The research projects conducted by College of Teacher Education include 3 National Educational Science Planning programs, 2 Chinese Association of Higher Education Planning issues, 3 Social Science programs of Department of Education, 2 Jiangsu Association of Higher Education Planning issues, 1 Jiangsu Philosophy and Social Sciences key projects, 7 Jiangsu Educational Science Planning programs, 12 Jiangsu Province Philosophy and Social Science projects. The school has got 11 Outstanding Achievement Awards; include Jiangsu Province Higher Education Research Award for outstanding achievements and Zhenjiang Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award etc.

        1. The Introduction of Research Institute
       We have set up research institute of educational scientific and research institute of educational policy, they will be responsible to concise research direction, build academic features and research team, integrate science research, academic development and professional development, they will play an important role in integrating institute research efforts and enhancing the level of science research.

        2. Research Team
        The building of research team is discipline-oriented, so they can allocate of research resources scientifically and efficiently, play the leading role of subject leaders to mobilize the initiative of every teacher to participate in academic research. With the power of master's construction and the goal of doctoral declaration, pressure and power co-exist, we will try to improve the overall level of research teams.
